Tech Lead

Tech Lead - .NET / React
Location: Bergen
Salary: Up to 1.1M NOK

We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join a well-established technology organisation in Bergen that is investing heavily in modern software development. This is an opportunity to lead a team while remaining hands-on with development, helping shape customer-facing digital products used by thousands of users.

You'll join one of the company's largest development teams, playing a key role in replacing a core platform and delivering modern APIs, integrations and digital services in an agile environment.

What you'll be doing

* Leading a cross-functional team of developers while remaining technically hands-on
* Designing and developing scalable backend solutions using .NET and C#
* Building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
* Driving technical decisions, architecture and engineering best practices
* Working closely with developers, UX designers, testers and business stakeholders
* Mentoring team members and helping to raise engineering standards across the department
* Contributing to the ongoing modernisation of a business-critical platform

Tech Stack

* .NET / C#
* React
* TypeScript
* REST APIs
* HTML & CSS

Experience with F# or Elm is beneficial but not essential.

We're looking for someone with

* Strong experience as a full-stack developer
* Excellent knowledge of .NET, C# and API development
* Commercial experience with React and TypeScript
* Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or similar leadership role
* Strong understanding of software architecture and modern engineering practices
* Experience working in agile development teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent Norwegian language skills

Experience from banking, finance, fintech or other business-critical software environments would be an advantage.
