Do you want to combine BI development with responsibility for deliveries - and build strong data solutions on modern platforms?

I am bow looking for a BI lead to help our customers create business value with data. Someone who can drive BI deliveries in a stable and professional way, acting as the link between the client owner and the delivery team.

Joining a team of likeminded specialists who thrive in the intersection between business & data. You will take on a central role with a clear mandate, working both closely with the BI solution and ensuring structure, progress, and quality for selected clients.

    About the Role:
As a Lead BI Consultant focused on Client & Delivery, you operate as a self‑sufficient team member who is equally comfortable working independently and collaborating within a project team.

You ensure that BI deliveries are stable, structured, and genuinely value‑creating for clients.
You take ownership of your workday - driving progress, maintaining coordination, and safeguarding quality - so both clients and colleagues experience clarity, structure, and a clear sense of direction.

You work closely with client stakeholders and their data landscape, translating business needs into well‑designed BI solutions built on solid data modelling and robust architecture.

You take initiative, solve problems proactively, and maintain momentum without requiring close supervision.

At the same time, you contribute to the broader project team by sharing insights, aligning on priorities, and supporting smooth delivery across workstreams. You also help identify new opportunities or emerging needs within the client's BI environment, enabling continuous improvement and long‑term collaboration.

    Your Key Responsibilities
    You will typically work with:
Project and delivery ownership for clients from agreement to final delivery
Planning and coordinating deliveries, milestones, and resources (without personnel responsibility)
BI development and implementation, ensuring the solution is solid, scalable, and value-creating
Data modelling and solution architecture, ensuring coherence between data foundation, model, and reporting
Client dialogue on progress, prioritisation, and next steps
Managing changes in scope, prioritisation, and expectation alignment
Identifying new needs and opportunities (e.g., extensions, optimisation, or new BI initiatives) and passing these to the client owner

    Time Allocation (Guideline)
Approx. 50% BI development and implementation and 50% project, delivery, and client dialogue.

    Who Are You?
Alongside a strong technical foundation and proven experience working with the Microsoft BI suite, we expect you to be able to demonstrate a customer centric approach.

Confident in your ability to communicate and translate technical challenges into actionable solutions.

    You likely have experience with:
Microsoft BI stack (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Azure)
Data modelling and solution architecture (e.g., star schema, semantic models, principles for meaningful reporting)
Data flows from sources to reporting, where data foundation, transformations, and reporting layers come together in a stable delivery
Modern data platforms such as Databricks and/or Fabric (and understanding of lakehouse/warehouse approaches)
Team and delivery leadership without personnel responsibility (planning, prioritisation, and follow-up on tasks and milestones)
Client and stakeholder management (expectation alignment, ongoing status, prioritisation, and dialogue across business and IT)
Sales and planning of workstreams (follow-up and ensuring future projects, including grooming and alignment with business strategies and ambitions)
    Fluent in Danish and English

    What Do We Offer?
    At Initiate, you get:
A central role with real responsibility and a clear mandate
Close collaboration with client owners and management
The opportunity to influence how we run BI projects and client relationships going forward
An organisation with high professionalism, short decision paths, and great trust
Great colleagues with a social culture and strong knowledge-sharing

As always, salary will reflect relevant experience but one thing to note, this is not a consultancy that only focuses on billable hours and delivery.
They firmly believe in building a data-driven culture to benefit customers and colleagues.
