    Copenhagen

    We're helping our client hire a Lead Full‑Stack Engineer to join a globally distributed engineering organisation building real, production‑critical platforms used daily by customers and partners across multiple markets.

    This is a product‑centric environment with long‑lived systems, modern engineering practices, and meaningful technical ownership. You'll work on a large, cloud‑native omnichannel platform supporting web, transactional, and operational workflows at scale.

    How engineering works

    * Pragmatic delivery: iterative development, measurable outcomes, and intentional refactoring
    * Written‑first culture: design docs and async communication to align teams across locations
    * Autonomy with standards: clear technical guardrails without bureaucracy
    * Customer proximity: engineers regularly see their work live in real‑world environments

    The role

    As a Lead Engineer (Full Stack), you'll play a key role in shaping the future of a suite of React‑based applications, ranging from bespoke customer experiences to high‑traffic B2B and B2C platforms.

    What you'll do

    * Lead and mentor multiple teams delivering complex web applications, dashboards, portals, and user‑facing platforms
    * Own frontend architecture across new and existing React applications
    * Define shared foundations: design systems, component libraries, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and modern AI‑assisted developer workflows
    * Improve engineering quality through strong design docs, code reviews, documentation, and retrospectives
    * Partner with Product and business stakeholders on roadmap planning and delivery
    * Make architectural decisions that balance short‑term delivery with long‑term maintainability
    * Influence API contracts, performance strategies, authentication, and security patterns across the stack

    What we're looking for

    * 3+ years of hands‑on React experience, ideally in complex or large‑scale environments
    * Proven experience in a technical leadership capacity (formal or informal)
    * Strong understanding of API consumption and design patterns
    * Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally
    * Demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership, from problem definition to production and monitoring
    * Experience coordinating work across multiple teams or systems
    * Full professional proficiency in Danish and English

    Nice to have

    * TypeScript
    * Experience with commerce, transactional, or data‑heavy platforms
    * GraphQL and/or REST APIs
    * Cloud‑native runtime experience
    * Observability and monitoring tooling
    * Security and performance awareness
    * Familiarity with modern React tooling and ecosystem
    * Exposure to AI / LLM‑assisted development workflows

    What's on offer

    * International engineering environment
    * Senior‑level scope with real technical and organisational influence
    * Modern, cloud‑native technology stack
    * Competitive compensation package including pension and benefits
    * Strong social culture with team events and shared activities
    * Opportunity to shape both the role and the platform as the organisation grows
