About the Role

We are looking for a Lead / Architect with strong .NET experience to help shape backend architecture and guide technical direction for a growing team in Sandvika. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, giving you influence over system design, cloud strategy, and long-term platform evolution within the telecom domain.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to build scalable, secure, and modern backend solutions in Azure, while ensuring best practices across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and backend technical direction

Develop and maintain backend services using .NET
*

Build cloud-native solutions on Azure
*

Work with SQL-based systems and data-driven backend components
*

Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across the platform
*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business needs
*

Mentor developers and contribute to engineering standards
*

Drive improvements in CI/CD, automation, and cloud operations

Requirements

*

Strong experience with .NET and backend development
*

Solid understanding of Azure cloud services
*

Experience with SQL and distributed backend systems
*

Background in architecture, system design, or technical leadership
*

Ability to lead discussions, make decisions, and guide engineering direction
*

Comfortable working in English
*

Experience in telecom is a plus, but not required
