SR F&O Developer

Our client, a leading player in the Oil & Gas sector based in Houston, TX, is seeking a skilled D365 F&O Developer to support and enhance their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for delivering technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform using X++ and related technologies.
*

Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
*

Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
*

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
*

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
*

Support and enhance existing D365 F&O applications as business needs evolve.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

*

3+ years of hands-on experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
*

Strong expertise in X++ development, including customizations, extensions, and integrations.
*

Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture and development best practices.
*

Experience with Visual Studio, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and DevOps pipelines.
*

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
*

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
*

Functional knowledge of Finance and Operations modules is a plus.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid work setup: 2-3 days onsite per week in the Houston, TX office.

Nice to Have:

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
*

Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
*

Integration experience using REST APIs, OData, or custom services.
