    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled D365 F&O Developer to join our dynamic team in North York, Ontario. This hybrid role focuses on developing and optimizing solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of system architecture, strong technical skills, and experience working on ERP implementations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Design, develop, and implement customizations and integrations within D365 F&O.
    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
    * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to D365 F&O.
    * Ensure data integrity and manage data migrations, including understanding the limitations of data copying from production to sandbox environments.
    * Optimize batch job processing and understand the implications of different job statuses (e.g., Withholding vs. Waiting).
    * Analyze the performance of database structures, including the impact of clustered indexes on insert statements.
    * Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

    Qualifications:

    * Proven experience as a D365 F&O Developer or similar role.
    * Strong knowledge of D365 F&O modules and functionalities.
    * Experience with data management, including sandbox environment configurations.
    * Understanding of batch job processes in D365 F&O.
    * Familiarity with SQL Server and database performance tuning.

    SUMMARY

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technology enthusiast to join our client's applications team as a Business Systems Analyst primarily supporting accounting and finance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting various financial systems, including ERP, financial planning, accounting close process, AR and AP.

    This role involves working closely with various departments to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of the system.

    ERP Implementation

    * Contribute to the re-implementation of the ERP in the US as the IT business partner with the accounting department

    * Own the fit/gap analysis to ensure the system design meets the department's requirements

    * Manage the accounting data migration to meet reconciliation needs

    * Define complete reporting specifications to deliver the necessary data sets to the accounting department

    * Establish and perform a training plan with the department's SME

    Other Implementation

    * Lead requirement gathering and vendor evaluation of financial projects including, but not limited to, financial planning, consolidation, and AR automation

    * Work with business partners to roll out tools to meet requirements on time and on budget

    * Develop and maintain financial dashboards, models, and analytical tools

    * Partner with Accounting and Finance to understand business needs and deliver effective system solutions

    * Maintenance, support, evaluation, configuration of core financial systems

    * Oversee and prioritize support issues, including both US and NL locations

    * Identify process inefficiencies and recommend system enhancements or automation opportunities

    * In conjunction with the process owner, plan out and justify modifications

    * Support upgrades, integrations, and testing for financial modules and addons

    * Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for financial systems and tools



    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

    * Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    * Working knowledge of accounting and costing modules of Business Central in a manufacturing environment

    * Implementation of add-on systems such as financial planning and

    * Experience working in an environment requiring consolidation of multiple general ledgers

    * Strong understanding of accounting process and GAAP

    * Ability to use time effectively and efficiently while managing multiple priorities

    * Strong verbal and written communication skills

    * Effective planning, organization, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills required

    * Demonstrated dependability, reliability and ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
